You nailed it again, Dr. Rasmus! I listened to the Alternative Visions broadcast and the two brief, but powerful, podcasts and what will it take to awaken the American people and how the super-rich are destroying this country?
We have two major political parties which 98% of the people who DO vote, cast their ballots for the selfish, and self-important rodents in the duopoly and can’t understand why things are getting worse for the average citizen, instead of giving alternative parties and their candidates for office, financial support and their vote and give them a chance at change the course leading us down a dark abyss.
Grateful for the post and especially why Ukraine is not Afghanistan 2.0. But my question goes to the job stats; it sounded like there were some stats that indicated that job creation could be over 400,000. It would be nice to know as to how many of those jobs were part time as opposed to full time and whether or not those statistics have any real meaning. Are people sick of living with their parents or couch surfing, have they maxed out their credit cards what is the background to this? Anecdotally I met a young waitress who is juggling three part time jobs to make ends meet—–that’s not sustainable. Likewise it would be nice to repeat how many people enter the job market each month: my recollection is over 100,000. Finally, the tweeted info re inflation from the WSJ as being 89% since 2019 is also worth repeating
